Photos: Imo Police uncover 8 bedroom kidnappers den
With the help of local vigilantes, the Imo State Police Command discovered a kidnapper’s undergound 8 bedroom den in a deserted building.
The den located in Umuchima Village, Okwu Autonomous Community in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, is reported to be used by kidnappers to keep victims.
In an operation led by the state's police commissioner, Abdulmajid Ali, men of the state police force in collaboration with some vigilante members, yesterday July 19th stormed the dilapidated & isolated building where they made the discovery
Speaking with newsmen after the operation, the state Police commissioner said they were able to rescue two people from the den. He said the building will be demolished. He warned criminals to stay away from Imo state as the state Police command are working to rid the state of criminals.
